Contributions

Waupun Utilities is pleased to support a large and varied number of community organizations.

Each year, the utility selects clubs, service groups and other civic organizations to make worthy contributions that will help meet a need in the community.

Visibility and involvement within the city is one advantage of being a local, community-owned utility.


2010 Contributions

  • Sponsorship of Little League sign
  • Sponsorship towards Waupun Athletic Booster Club, Central WI Christian School, and Chamber of Commerce Golf Outings.

    Photo Above - Eric Kostecki, Energy Services Rep presents renewable energy information to high school students. Students are offered interactive exposure to the utility solar photovoltaic (PV) system and plug in hyrid electric vehicle (PHEV).

    2009 Contributions

    • Contributions towards Veterans Memorial Wall addition
    • Donation towards Drug Safety booklets for Grades 5-7, along with Fire Safety Education materials for elementary students.
    • Sponsorship of Little League sign
    • Contributed towards the purchase of an AED difibrillator for Central WI Christian Schools.

    2008 Contributions

    • Donation towards Drug Safety booklets for Grades 5-7
    • Sponsorship of Little League sign
    • Sponsored four Waupun teachers at an energy related KEEP course.
    • Contributed towards the purchase of an AED difibrillator for Jefferson School.

    2007 Contributions

    • Sponsored a Waupun teacher at an energy related KEEP course.
    • Donation to Waupun Church Women United school supply distribution program
    • $250 donation to Lou Pluim Golf Outing, sponsored by Waupun Athletic Booster Club
    • $200 donation to Key Club for providing face painting at Utility Open House
    • Donation of 50 fleece blankets and 50 cfl bulbs along with a cash donation to Waupun Area Food Pantry

    2006 Contributions

    • $250 donation to Athletic Booster Club
    • Sponsorship of Little League sign
    • Donation for Fire Safety Educational materials along with $400 donation towards department improvements
    • Donations to Waupun Food Pantry, Senior Center, and Holiday Help for the Needy Program
