Contact local solar installation contractors
Get quotes and compare the total costs and payback periods of different systems and installers.
Complete required interconnection application documents
Complete the Distributed Generation Application and Supplement form(s) prior to installation and the Distributed Generation Interconnection Agreement upon completion, as well as other necessary forms.
Obtain local permits

Installation and inspection
Upon final installation of your solar system, have a final inspection by your local building inspector.
